Man oh man, did I flop on my goals for the month of February (SEE POST HERE). It’s a bit embarrassing, but equally as important to share when things just don’t go as planned. I fell into a major slump in February (which is common for me), that drastically impacted my pursuit of the goals set out for the month.

I did learn a few things though. Forcing myself to read in the carpool line isn’t going to work. I want to be a reader, I am so jealous of those who naturally LOVE to read and make time to prioritize it each day…. I am just not one of those people. I did however get significantly better at hopping on IG most days to just chat, and I have LOVED that! As far as my after work routine, that is still a work on progress, but I am making that time much more efficient and productive.
My planner, other than getting increasingly heavy as the weeks go on (I am in the home stretch of completing a full year in the same book!) It’s working out well. And downtime on the weekends that has been no issue at all!
When thinking about March I have a few goals in mind:
1. GET MY HOME READY FOR SPRING
I cannot wait for the days where the sun shines in with open windows, music on and just that feeling of a new season upon us. I do have a bit of a list I want to tackle to get my home in order for the changing of seasons. I will be sharing more in an upcoming video, but it’s just basics or changing out decor, decluttering a bit, going through the kids wardrobes….

2. START TAKING TIME TO WALK
This one is scary to share because I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS say I am going to prioritize time for myself to workout or simple walk (more for my mental health than anything), and I NEVER follow through. So to entice me to do it, I have a few items on my wishlist that may push me in that direction. And some saved podcasts as well!
3. TAKE MORE PHOTOS
I am always in need of photos. So much of what I do online is visual, so photos are important. I hate scrambling to take photos to meet a deadline, or get a post up. I would love to get in the habit of just taking a ton of photos all the time, and having them on deck when the need arises.

4. DEVELOP A SPRING/SUMMER MEAL IDEAS LIST
I have a good start to a list, those family favorites we gravitate toward, but I want to expand that. Start including a bit more variety in our meal plans. I also want to do a better job of meals we can take on the go.

5. 10 BAGS OF DONATION
I know 10 bags seems like a lot, but I don’t think it will be too hard. I really need to go through Lilly and JD’s clothes and get their closets sorted out. Another area of the house I want to tackle is the playroom. There are always more ways to declutter and downsize the items that we are no longer using that are just taking up space. So 10 bags in March it is!
What are some of your goals for the coming month?
