Last week I shared gift ideas for kids, things my kids have or love.  Today I am sharing some kid gift ideas that would be great either for your own kids, or for neices/nephews, grandchildren, friends kids, toys to purchase for donation.  I hope you all enjoy and find this helpful!

One year sleeping bags were gifted to my kids and they LOVE them.  I am not one to purchase a ton of character items, so that made it even more fun for them.  They use these when we travel and at home when they have sleep overs or build forts.  The ones I found are Blaze, Minnie Mouse, Princess and Cars.

Fun kits are also a great gift for kids, especially if you have the time to do the kit with the child!  My kids LOVE doing science kits with their Aunt and Uncle, and Lilly and my mom do jewelry kits together almost every year.  I have included the Mega Gemstone Science Kit, a Weather Science Kit, and a Terrarium, a Volcano Kit is always a hit as well! I love Melissa and Doug products, the quality just really impresses me, just be careful with the jewelry kit because it does have small pieces.  Nail Kits are always a blast, and a new fun kit is a blanket making kit.

Nerf Guns, because it’s essential to have the guns to do nerf wars on Christmas.  I have shown three here, but there are so many to choose from!

Like my previous gift guide, I stand true to board games as gifts, for a few reasons.  One, it is so fun for a family to build a collection of board games, and two, pieces inevitably get lost, and games need replaced.  Our current favorites in our house are Monopoly, Blokus, Mexican Train, and Ticket To Ride!

Lastly, I had an idea, that honestly, I wish I had come up with a few weeks ago.  Kids get SO many gifts on Christmas or the days leading up or after.  So wouldn’t it be fun to be that aunt/uncle or grandparent that gives a gift to kick off the holiday season?!?!?!  We have family that gives Christmas PJ’s which is always fun, and I thought it would be so fun to send out advent calendars to the ones we love.  That way they get to enjoy it until Christmas.  This is something I am tucking in my planner to consider for next year.  There are SO MANY fun advent calendars for kids of all ages.
