Consistently blogging is SO hard when you are someone who loves being on camera so much. I just keep coming back to it for a few reasons, mostly, I love having this space as a landing spot. Where I can collect all of my online material in one place. So here is attempt 205 at blogging at least once a week!

This week I hit a hard spot. February is my least favorite month, and I could feel myself just being lazy, unmotivated, and digging myself deeper into a state of despair that winter would never end. Instead of grabbing the Netflix remote yet again, I decided to challenge myself to a 7 day reset. We are on day 5 and I am finding it so helpful. Each day I turn on my camera and talk about something I am doing to get myself out of a rut. You can watch along HERE.

One huge fail of the week has been my meal plan. I have no clue what it is, but this week I have not done a great job of sticking to the plan. I feel like each night we were scrambling. I love to meal plan, and have shared many times the benefits of that, but just know, it doesn’t always execute properly, and there are weeks where… even after years of practice, I struggle at sticking to it. All we can do it try to get back on track and do better next week!

Here in VA through part of the week, we started to see hints of SPRING weather…. and it felt AMAZING! I decided, that I can no longer use the weather as an excuse, and it was time to get back to walking outside. I only do a couple miles, but it really does boost my mood. Making the time for it gets tricky, but in March I am going to try to make it a priority.

Speaking of walking, I need some suggestions. One of my favorite things to do while walking is listening to podcasts. I love Kendra from The Lazy Genius but I need more options! I also like Pantsuit Politics, but have sort of decided I need a bit of a break from news/politics for awhile. So any great podcast options you think I would love, let me know!

This week we also chatted about the things we splurge on, and how everyone has different things they spend on. I thought the answers were so interesting. My recent splurge was a pair of shoes that I just LOVE. I decided to round up a few different pair of similar shoes at different price points. If this goes well, I may do this with more pieces in the future.
As for the weekend, we are keeping it pretty low key. My big task is cleaning out my master closet and doing a bit of a wardrobe edit. The before photo is a bit scary! I am hoping next week to have a motivating after picture to share. Happy Friday and I hope you all have an awesome weekend too!
