Ok, so this may be a TERRIBLE idea, but it’s all in good fun. I know on here, Instagram and Youtube I show a lot of organized spaces in my home… heck these spaces were probably once the organized spaces I have shown. Today I am sharing 5 things in my home that need organized…. and guess what, these aren’t pretty before and afters…. just the horrifying before shots.
1. MY CLOSET
Oh the inspiration to this little post. Y’all it may not look that bad, but trust me, it’s bad. Also organizing it has literally been on my list of to do’s since quarantine started… please tell my you have a project to tackle that you just haven’t had to motivation to do.

2. UNDER MY SINK
This is what I like to call a 10 minute project. Meaning it will take me 10 freaking minutes to tidy up and organize, yet… here it sits.

3. DINING ROOM HUTCH
Ok, so I have a legitimate excuse for this one…. #distancelearning. This is our learning at home hub, so I don’t even feel bad about this one. However, it we end up not going back into school in the fall I need a better solution. Our dining room typically stays pretty organized and tidy. Minimal decor, and barely used….. I kind of preferred it that way…lol.

4. POTS AND PANS
This my friends is part of a catch-22. See my kids/husband are in charge of dishes 90% of the time. This, well it’s the aftermath of other people putting away dishes…. so I either start doing the dishes 100% of the time and have a tidy cabinet, or I deal with it…… I for one, am dealing with the mess.

5. TOY CLOSET
I cannot believe I am showing this one. I am kind of embarrassed because I know I have an awesome video on how to make this look great. It has so much potential. But again, this is a case of letting my kids take the responsibility on cleaning up.

So there you have it, my 5 organizing, or more like complete disaster confessions. I used to do these confessions posts more often because the internet became a nasty judgemental place (yes there was a time like that!) But at the end of the day I think it’s important to show that while I do have organized spaces in my home, it doesn’t look like that 24/7 and it takes WORK to keep it up, usually work I am to lazy to want to do!
Did this inspire you to tackle organizing projects? check out my AMAZON STORE for a section dedicated to home organizing.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend, and who knows next week perhaps I will return with afters of all of these spaces!
We all have our messes.
