For the month of May I have decided to film and post a video every single day on my YouTube Channel (FIND IT HERE). Each day I will share how I plan in my planner. Totally inspired by Cindy from Llama Letters, showing how I plan each day will hopefully inspire you if you are into functional/decorative planning as well. Or just give you a bit of escape for 10 minutes in your day. Don’t worry….. my typical vlog days (TUE, THUR, SUN) I will also be posting Vlogs as well!

To begin this new fun project, I thought it would be helpful to have one centralized location to share the products I use regularly and LOVE!

Let’s Start with the planners. For this month I will be planning each day in my ERIN CONDREN DAILY DUO PLANNER. This is a brand spanking new planner design from EC. From the moment I got it I was in love and wanted to share. You can order these books now, but technically they do not start until July of 2020. I may also pull out my EC HOURLY WEEKLY PLANNER. This is the book I have used for almost an entire year, and finishing up May and June in this book is important to me. Also since our adventures in distance learning have started, I have used the ERIN CONDREN TEACHER PLANNER to help this mama keep it all together. I have 3 kids and SO MANY ZOOM MEETINGS…. that with worksheets and online work, I need a spot to keep everyone on track. I also may pull out my favorite WRITING NOTEPAD or STICKY NOTES from time to time. KRISSYANNE DESIGNS makes some of my favorite grid paper sticky notes!

Good pens are so important. In this planner my main pen is going to be a Fine Needle Point TUL pen in blue ink. I also have a thicker medium point as well. For the Krissyanne Designs stickers a more permanent pen is needed. THESE are the ones I love. MILDLINERS are something I don’t use often but are a great variation to use. These Erin Condren colored pencils are no longer sold, but any simple colored pencil will work. I like using these for shading of time frames. Lastly, a new EC product, that at first I was very unsure about, but as I use them I love them more and more. The EC DIY INTERCHANGEABLE PENS are fun and different. Not necessarily a pen I would take on the go, they are something I like to have at my desk for planning.

White out and a tape runner are really simple office supplies but make a big impact in planning. Having them on hand is a must. There are so many different types of cutting utensils. My most used are these MARTHA STEWART SCISSORS (LARGE and SMALL) and the PALETTE KNIFE. I also use my EC ruler quite a bit. WASHI TAPE. I like it, but I really downsized my collection a few years ago and am glad I did. I used to never put photos in my planner, but recently I have started. My current planner has turned into somewhat of a memory keeper during the COVID-19 quarantine. Having photos is a really nice touch when documenting the time. I use the POLAROID ZIP PRINTER.

I love using stickers in my planner, but I keep it pretty simple as far as shops go. I just have some favorites and that is all I need. The first is KRISSYANNE DESIGNS. I have “known” Kristen for YEARS…. She is just so wonderful and has created an amazing business. The ERIN CONDREN STICKERS are great as well, I just have SO many that I haven’t used. I am going to try to use these more in the new daily duo. I do love THESE sticker books from amazon to organize all my EC stickers. Another small business sticker shop I really love is PLANNER KATE. She has an Etsy shop and that is where I love buying kits from. I also have a few additional random sticker books that I may pull from here or there.
There it is all my most used products. If you are new to planning, I just want you to know that I have been doing this as a hobby for 10 years. That is how I have accumulated so much, I didn’t go out and buy all at once, and I have learned over the years, and continue to learn what I like, use, and what I don’t.
