A few weeks ago I posted a review of this Productivity Planner (which is currently sold out, sorry!) and promised some closer photos as well as an update on my blog. I have since prepped the book, and used it some. I feel like personally it has so many pros and cons to it, that it may not make for the perfect planner for me, but it does have some really great elements to it.

First of all, while I am not a huge fan of planner with wire o binding, or chipboard covers, it is well made. Just a personal preference that those are not my preferred choice for a book. I do however LOVE the colors of the cover! SO pretty! I also love that attached is a band to secure the book closed.

When you open the book there is a lot of prep reading and work to do. I don’t love all the written out instructions, but I do love that there is a video you can watch. Then it’s time to get to work. I did fill in the define your blocks sections. It was helpful to see how my life would unfold onto these pages.

So pictured above is my least favorite spread in the book. To me it’s just all wrong. The monthly boxes are so small, the monthly tracker just takes up way too much space, and the wins/improvements isn’t helpful to me. So that part of the book is kind of a bust.

A page I do love is the weekly planning to do list. A big brain dump for the week of everything that needs done. Even if I don’t use this book in the future, I do think I am going to start trying to make a giant list at the start of the week. As far as the meal plan page… It’s ok. Again, takes up SO much unneeded space, but is helpful.

The last area of the planner I want to cover is my favorite, it is the daily pages. This way of planning really does help me accomplish so much in a day. I don’t know if it’s sustainable day in and day out, but it is affective. I will say after doing the blocks for a week straight, I realize how many tasks I do day after day, and writing those day after day would get boring.
Wrapping up, one final thought is how much a love the paper quality in this book. I was skeptical, paper is a big deal to me in a planner, and SO many companies (especially those that planners isn’t their main focus) get it SO wrong…. but this paper is GREAT!
