Man this week flew bye. I finally feel like my home is completely back to normal after this holiday season. I can tell I am heading into the time of year I just hate. Those winter blues are creeping in, but I am attempting to make it a priority to not get too down this year. Does anyone else get the winter blues, and just counts down the days until spring? Any-who…. let’s get started with 5 things this Friday!
1. AN EASY DINNER – BEEF TIPS AND NOODLES
One of my keys to success when it comes to meal planning is creating an arsenal of really simple dinners that don’t really need a recipe. Beef Tips and Noodles is one of those dinners. It’s also a family favorite! CLICK HERE to see a simple step by step of how I make it.

2. I QUIT IRONING
Ok, so technically in order to quit something, you have to do it regularly in the first place, but I am officially breaking up with my iron and ironing board. For Christmas Matt got me a Travel Steamer and I LOVE IT. I love how much less of a hassle it is. In the past if I have a wrinkled shirt I basically had 2 options, 1… wear it wrinkled or 2…. throw it in the dirty laundry… anyone else? Now I throw it up in my bathroom pull out my steamer and it’s no big deal!

3. DECOR CHANGES FOR WINTER
As I mentioned before, I finally feel like my home is back to normal after the holidays. It feels so fresh, and decluttered. I have minimal decor out currently, which feels so refreshing. I do have a few clean simple decor pieces throughout the house, but I didn’t overdo it. The funny thing is I have bins of decor for Valentines Day and Spring/Easter, that I haven’t pulled out for a few years not. I just really prefer minimal decor.

4. MRS. MAISEL
Last week I started watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime. IT IS SO SO SO SO GOOD! Just a show I am instantly in love with. Now a few disclaimers…. it is quite heavy on cussing, which I have absolutely no issue with but I know some do. Also, definitely not something to watch with the kiddos around. I love finding a good show to binge during this time of year.
5. MY BOOK LIST
As you all know I am trying hard this year to not overcommit to anything, or set up goals that I know will just ultimately stress me out. I do however have a running book list in my Amazon cart, and thought I would share some today.

I am not going to admit how long it has taken me to write this post today! Between appointments for the kids, errands and distractions. It feels so good though to have a set schedule with the blog, youtube channel and social media though, and it feels even better to hit those marks for another week!
