On a recent Baseball weekend trip to Pennsylvania we made plans to visit Hershey, PA. While planning what exactly we wanted to do, it was a toss up between Hershey Park or Hershey’s Chocolate World. The two are on the same grounds, and you can pop into Chocolate World for the free tour and shopping anytime. We opted out of doing the park after we heard how crowded the park was on a Friday as schools are getting out for summer break. Also, I wanted something we could all enjoy together and not worry about resrictions on rides for our youngest.

I purchased tickets online in advance of going, picked the package deal, which was nice because they timed it all out for you. We did Herhey’s Unwrapped, the 4D Movie, a Trolly Ride of the town of Hershey, the free tour, and lastly Make Your Own Chocolate Bar.
I am so glad we chose to spend the day at Chocolate World. There will be so many years where amusement parks are the pick of the kids, but this is something they for sure would be grown out of in the coming years. It was a perfect family experience, that everyone really enjoyed.
