A huge Thank you to the Nationals Organization for inviting us to spend the day at the park #hosted. This is NOT a sponsored post, this post DOES NOT contain affiliate links

Y’all know we are a baseball family. We love the game, our boys love to play, and our entire family loves a day at the ballpark. If I wasn’t such a baby about flying, going to every MLB stadium would be on my bucket list. Luckily for us, we have a great park close to home, with so many fun options for families!

Our first stop of the day was the PenFed Kids Fun Zone. A Playground that is new and improved for this season. Geared for kids ages 3-8, this is a great spot to take a break, or get their wiggles out before heading to your seats. I love that the design includes a separate space for younger kids.

Highlighting a few of the other really fun features at the park, JD LOVED running the bases after the game. This is a promotion that is offered after the conclusion of every Sunday Afternoon Home game during the season, weather depending of course. If your little ones can make it through till the end, I highly suggest sticking around for it! Also, by the time we got to the car after staying to run the bases, traffic had died down, and it was easy to get back out on the highway on our way home!
Back for 2019 is Fireworks Nights! Friday May 24, Friday June 14, Wednesday July 3, and Friday August 30 the sky will light up after the game, and your family can enjoy the fireworks show from the ballpark.

It’s funny because we have been to a number of games in the past, but there was so much we were missing out on. Also I think a new must do at the beginning of each spring it to check out the promotional calendar (HERE) and plan out what games we don’t want to miss for the season!
Love how active you and your kiddos are!
