In 2010 I purchased my first designer planner. The Erin Condren Life Planner was in it’s very early years of production. I fell in love and started using my paper planner daily to keep my life organized. In 2013 I decided to share my planner on YouTube. Since then I have continued to share my planning hobby. The planning community on social media has exploded and it is an amazing thing to be a small part of. Live Laugh Plan is my Instagram account that is purely planner related photos and content. My planner videos on YouTube are published every Sunday! Below are some frequently asked planner questions….
What Planner Do You Use?
I like to switch it up. I think I just love so many things about so many different planners that it’s hard to pick “just one”. So here are my current TOP 3.
Kikki-K A5 Ring Bound Planner with Sew Much Crafting Inserts. While I haven’t tried all the ring bound planner options, I LOVE the kikki-k. The price point and quality are just my style. Inside I fill the binder with inserts from Sew Much Crafting on Etsy. Danielle is incredible, and the paper she using is simply the best on the market. CLICK HERE to visit Kikki-K. Erin Condren Life Planner. I have such a love hate relationship with this company. I have been a customer for 7+ years and have seen them grow, change, struggle, and thrive. I love the products, however always seem to have issue with quality control. Customer service always comes through and makes it right. My newest obsession is the newly released 8 1/2 x 11 hardbound vertical planner. Also the planner accessories this site offers are AMAZING! For 10$ off your first Erin Condren Order SIGN UP HERE.
Simplified Planner. This was my new planner pick for 2017. The calendar doesn’t begin until August, so I have to wait to see if it will work for me. I went with the daily version. The paper quality is good, the themes within the planner are so well thought out, and it is very motivating. I can’t wait to try this out and share my thoughts! Isn’t It Expensive Buying All That Planner Stuff?
I look at planning as a hobby that I LOVE. Just like sewing or knitting, or handbag collecting. I don’t go overboard, and only purchase things that I love. Also full disclosure, a lot of companies have referral programs anyone can join, so products are free with the credits I earn. I occasionally also work this brands to share products, but of course will always let you know if that’s the case!
How Do You Keep Up With More Than One Planner?
I don’t. I really only use one planner at a time. the only exception is I may have a desk planner for my YouTube content as well. I also find that when life gets hectic I struggle with continuing to write in my planner. It’s all about finding a balance that works!
What Are Your Favorite Etsy Shops?
I am a loyal shopper! I only have a handful of favorites because I only purchase from these shops.
